More House Pics

These are for my sisters who keep asking for more pictures of the house (since they live too far away to see it.) Also, we had our first real snow on Saturday! The girls and I were walking out of the mall and sure enough, there were huge flakes falling. Nothing really stuck to the ground, but we were excited nonetheless!

Our Dream Home

We are so excited to finally be in our home after almost a year of planning and about 5 months of building. I never thought I would want to build a custom home, but we had a wonderful experience. We had great people we could trust to help us every step of the way (especially when we were still in Phoenix). We love how it turned out and feel like it's just perfect for our family. Every day when I drive up the driveway or get ready in my beautiful bathroom I think, "I can't believe how lucky I am to have all this." We have truly been blessed.

Idaho Sunset

One of the reasons why we are loving Idaho....this view from our backyard last week.

And the adventure begins...

Dallin was so excited that he got to go to his first day of cub scouts on the day of his eighth birthday. Now he's trying to get through the handbook in record time.

Blogging, Day One

I finally did it after years of peer pressure from everyone and their dog (or should I say blog?). I read a lot of blogs (too many!) and I can't count how many times I've considered doing one myself. I've decided to do it after realizing that I am terrible at:
1. journal writing
2. picture taking
3. remembering the cute things my kids do each day
I'm also not so great at keeping in touch with family and friends. So I'm hoping that this blog will cover all those bases. Tune in later for pictures of our new house (after I get it cleaned up enough to take pictures of it).
